I just wanted to take a moment to say how much Lakeland High School enjoyed having Jim Tuman speak to our students. Jim had been recommended to us by our own students who attended the Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership Conference. They were moved by his presentation and worked for a couple of years with our school administration to find funding to bring Jim in.
Jim, himself, worked with us because he is so committed to speaking to students. He is energetic and passionate, and his well-received presentation really motivated students to make the most of each day and to reach out to care for one another. He inspired many staff, as well. The lessons he taught will not soon be forgotten.
